A little boy. A big, bright light.

A place to remember Liam, hold onto the little things, and carry his light forward.

Little Moments

Small stories, held just as they happened. The laughs, the mischief, the tiny things that were never really tiny.

Liam's Light

Some of Liam's light continues outward through the things created in his name, offering comfort, connection, creativity, and kindness to other people.

The places he loved

Some of these places were already part of his little world.

Liam loved exploring the library and hiking at the town park. We wanted the projects we created there to carry a little piece of that joy forward.

The town park

A place Liam loved.

Liam loved going to the town park and hiking its trails. We wanted to leave a little piece of his light there, so a memorial bench now gives families a place to pause, rest, and remember.

The park was part of his world. Now it can be part of his memory, too.

Family Fun Day 2025

Little lights for little people.

At the town park's Family Fun Day, we shared more than 100 Liam's Little Light bags filled with stuffed animals and helped supply the raffle baskets. The town also gave away a week of summer camp as a scholarship in Liam's name, giving another child the chance to make their own happy summer memories.

For families facing loss

Comfort when it is needed most.

We wanted to find a way for Liam's light to reach families during some of their darkest moments. More than 100 bereavement bags have been provided to Albany Medical Center and UHS in Binghamton, filled with comforting items for families experiencing loss. We recently endowed the UHS program so Liam's light can continue reaching families in these difficult moments.

The Butterfly Room

A little light while they wait.

The Butterfly Room is a waiting space at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children's Hospital in Albany. We provided an interactive gaming table so children have something to explore, play with, and enjoy during the long and difficult waits that can come between tests and procedures.

The library

A place Liam loved to play.

Liam loved the library, so bringing a Draw Alive experience there felt like a natural way to carry his joy forward. Kids can color pictures, scan them in, and watch their drawings come to life on the screen. On Liam's birthday, we also filled the library with a Cocomelon party, sharing books, toys, and treats with the children who came to celebrate.

A place that held happy memories for Liam is now holding new ones in his name.

Family Fun Day 2026

Little ducks, lots of smiles.

At this year's Family Fun Day at the town park, we handed out rubber duckies as a little gift from Liam. It was so sweet to see kids walking around the park, smiling and squeaking their ducks.

Carry Liam's light forward

Help us support SUDC research.

If you are interested in carrying Liam's light forward, one meaningful way to do that is by helping fund research into Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC). SUDC is still not well understood—we do not yet know what causes it, how to predict it, or how to prevent it. Research can help bring answers to families and, someday, help prevent other children from being lost.

Donations can be made in Liam's name through the SUDC Foundation:
